A set of four catalysts presenting various structures, namely cerium dioxide (CeO2) and lanthanum oxide (La2O3), along with cerium phosphate (CePO4) and cerium zirconate (CeZrO4), were assessed for their efficiency in the reaction. The best results in terms of activity, expressed as the number of mole of ammonia decomposed per weight of catalyst, were obtained with CePO4, followed by CeZrO4, CeO2 and La2O3. It corresponds to the material possessing the highest pore volume and the lowest permittivity. ER -
